Linda Lee O'Neill

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Lee O’Neill of Saint John, NB, who left this world on September 2, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on October 31, 1955, in Saint John to Sheila (Steeves) Almon and Walter O’Neill, Linda grew up with a strong sense of independence, a quick smile, and a gift for conversation that could brighten any room.

Linda pursued her Certificate of Business Administration at NBCC and carried her skills into many roles over the years. Whether at NBCC, Red Rose Tea, or Mark’s, she brought warmth, friendliness, and dedication to her work. For more than 20 years, Linda was a faithful member of Forest Hills United Baptist Church, where her devotion to Jesus was at the heart of her life. Her faith grounded her and gave her strength, and she lived it out daily in the way she treated others—with kindness, openness, and a caring spirit.

Linda’s proudest role was being a mother and grandmother. She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Audrey Langlais (Jamie), and her cherished grandson, Hudson, who brought endless joy to her life. She was also remembered by her brothers-in-law Dan Almon, Norman Almon, and Donny Almon, and many friends and loved ones who will miss her deeply. She was predeceased by her parents, Sheila and Walter, and her brother Danny O’Neill, whose memory she carried close to her heart. Linda will be remembered as an independent, devoted, and friendly soul—someone
who was always ready for a good chat, and a laugh. Her legacy is one of faith, love, and resilience.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424).  Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, September 9th, 2025 from 12-2 PM.  A Graveside service will follow at 2:15 PM at Oceanview Memorial Gardens, all are welcome.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Compassionate Grief Centre, an
organization close to the family’s heart.
