Linda Rose Normore

It is with broken hearts, the family of Linda Rose Normore wishes to announce her passing which occurred on September 12, 2025, at Bobby’s Hospice.  Born September 21, 1978, in Corner Brook, NF, she is the daughter of Catherine Curnew and the late Leslie Normore.

When she first came to Saint John she worked as a nanny, worked in several restaurants and was a taxi driver.  She loved children and was wonderful has a nanny.    She always enjoyed the outdoors and had a great passion for all animals.  Her wonderful sense of humor made everyone smile. 

Besides her mother, she is survived by brothers, Charles and John Normore and Robert Tizzard, her sister, Sherry Tizzard, along with her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.  She also leaves behind her dear feline companion Samuel.

Linda’s family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Bobby’s Hospice for their care and compassion.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424).  Visitation will take place at Mission Point Church, 130 Mark Drive, Saint John, NB, on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 9:30 until 11:00am.  The funeral service will take place at 11:00am followed by interment at Fernhill Cemetery.  Remembrances made to Bobby’s Hospice or the SPCA would be appreciated.
