Laurie Henry Obituary

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Laurie Joseph Henry which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, June 8th, 2018.  Born 1950, in Rogersville, NB, he was the son of the late Albert and Appolene (Doiron) Henry.  Laurie worked for Labour Union Local 900 for over 40 years.  He enjoyed being surrounded by his brothers and sisters. 

Laurie is survived by his brothers Raymond (Susan), Donald (Aurea), Norman (Christine), Leo (Theresa), Gary (Holly); sisters Mary Ann Bezeau (Fred), Alma Bezeau (Cyril), Dora Robichaud, Shirley Sewell (Daryl), Jeannine Dupuis (Steve); godchildren Roy Robichaud and April Hanley; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.  Besides his parents, Laurie was predeceased by his brother-in-law Elmer Bezeau, sister-in-law Hazel Henry and niece Jo-ann Ramsay.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  A Memorial Service will take place from the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Tuesday, June 12th at 11 a.m. followed by a reception. An interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.  Donations in memory of Laurie may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
