Kelsey M. Martin

It is with broken hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Kelsey Marie Martin, which occurred unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, June 28th, 2023.  Born November 29th, 1995, in Saint John, she is the daughter of Kevin Martin (Amber) of Nerepis and Natalie Shannon (Matt) of Saint John.  Kelsey loved to sing and she adored her children; they were her pride and joy.  She’ll be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Along with her parents, Kelsey is survived by her sons Ezra and Eliot; brother Cody Shannon (Jessica) of Shearwater, NS; sister Brianna Martin (Mike) of Rothesay; maternal grandparents Donna and Gary Shannon; special friend Brittany; niece Cailyn and nephew Caleb; as well as many friends.  Kelsey was predeceased by her paternal grandparents Kay and Leo Martin and her maternal grandmother Ruth Shannon.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424).  A private visitation, by invitation only, will be held on Tuesday, July 4th from 12 to 2 p.m.  A Memorial Service will follow in the Fundy chapel beginning at 2 p.m.  Interment will take place at a later date.  Donations in memory of Kelsey may be made to the SPCA-Animal Rescue or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
