Karen Irene Jones

It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Karen Irene Jones which occurred at Bobby’s Hospice on April 16, 2025 following her courageous battle with cancer. Born in Saint John, November 30, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Joan Jones.

She always had a way of caring for others and worked in homecare and childcare throughout her life. Family was everything to her. Music, dancing and singing brought her happiness and she enjoyed nature while hiking the scenic countryside.

She is survived by her sons; William MacKay and Graeme MacKay (Shania), daughter, Heather Hall (Graham), brothers; Larry (Eloise), Victor, Tim (Mee Yong), and Bill, sister Patricia Dow, her grand puppy Banjo, and grand kitties, Charles & Ori, along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424). Following cremation, there will be an intimate family gathering to celebrate her life. Remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
