Janet Lynn Maillet

It is with broken hearts the family of Janet Lynn Maillet announce her passing on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024.  Beloved wife of the late Rufin Maillet.  Janet leaves behind her step-son Chris Maillet (Donna), her brothers Henry (Marie) Wallace, Gordon (Doris) Wallace, Brian Wallace, Paul Wallace and her sisters Linda (Wes) Levesque and Mary Ann (Charlie) Speight.  Janet was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother. Janet will also be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews: Gerry, Jason, Michael, Wesley, Tanya, Jeremiah, Jamie, Sarah, C.J. and Josh She is predeceased by her step-children Tony Maillet and Patsy Vautour, her parents Gerald and Emma Wallace and her sister Doris Connelly.  Janet loved music, she played the drums in the family band, she enjoyed bowling, playing TV Bingo and spending time with her family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB, (506-646-2424).  Family and friends will be received on Monday, October 7th, 2024 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.  A Funeral Liturgy will take place on Tuesday, October 8th at 12:30 PM at St. Roses Catholic Church, 541 Milford Road, Saint John, NB, E2M 4R5.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.  Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
