Eugere “Gerry” Caissie passed away on February 13, 2024, at Kennebec Manor, his home for the last three years, where many friendships were made. Born in St. Norbert, NB, on April 1, 1946, he was a son of the late Aquila and Aline (Savoie) Caissie.
Gerry was a jack of all trades, working in roofing, carpentry, and cabinet making, always working in construction. He was well known as a people person who could strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere, and always loved his daily Tim Horton’s coffee. He had many good friends over the years. He liked bowling, Nascar and stock car racing.
Gerry is survived by his sons Scott and Todd; sisters Lovina Ayles (Skip), Lita St. Pierre (Gill Theriault), Jeannine Caissie (Stephen Melanson), Huguette Rector (Kim), and Berni Vernon (Ric) as well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Gerry was predeceased by his brothers Raymond, Bernard and Clarence Caissie; sister Ann Marie Caissie; and nephew Jared Rector.
A very special thank you to the wonderful staff of Kennebec Manor for the great care and love shown to Gerry over the last few years.
