Hazel Connell Obituary
It is with broken hearts that the family of Hazel Connell, wife of the late Larry Connell, announces her peaceful passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on March 6, 2023. Born in Saint John in 1931, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Rosella (Parker) Saunders.
Hazel is survived by her son Paul Connell (Louise) of Saint John; daughter Kathy Connell of Saint John; grandchildren Matthew, Trevor, Mark, Michael, and Amanda; great grandchildren Emma, Haley and Madelyn; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her son Peter.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Visitation will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023, from 12 PM – 3 PMwith a Funeral Service to follow in Fundy Funeral Home Chapel at 3 PM. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date. Donations in Hazel’s memory can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
