George Robert Best

It is with great sadness the family of George Robert Best announce his sudden passing on Sunday, September 10th, at the age of 56.  His loss will be deeply felt by his wife Brenda Best of 23 years and by his children Stephanie (Nathan MacDonald) Mills, Christopher Totten and fur-baby Rex. He was the proud grandfather of Parker and Liam.   He will be dearly missed by his siblings Chris (Heike) Best, Patti Foss, Debbie (the late Larry) Schooley, Cindy (Jim) Beck and Lori (Jamie Cyr) Osmon as well as many other family members and friends.  George is predeceased by his parents Muriel and William Best and his two fur-babies Jersey and Ceasar Best.  George loved computers, Ford Mustangs, Glamping, Star Trek and will be remembered for his 18 years of service with Xerox; but above all else he was a family man first.  He was so proud to see his family grow and prosper.  He will be missed sorely.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424).  Family and friends will be received on Thursday, September 14th from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.  A Funeral Liturgy will take place in the Chapel on Friday, September 15th at 11:00 a.m.  Donations to the SPCA or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
