Obituary for Gail Mona Fisher - November 26th, 1934 - March 26, 2024

Today, heaven gained an Angel. Mom is finally at rest and in a place of comfort where there is no more suffering. Our memories of our dear mother are an abundance of kindness, joy, laughter, frustration but most of all love. Mom loved everyone unconditionally and gave of herself in so many ways.

Mom will be remembered as a humble soul who enjoyed the simple things in life and extended kindness to everyone. We are left with fond memories of mom’s tongue twisters, fancy tap dancing, her cup of tea and poached egg on toast and her desire for cleanliness. Oh My! She loved to play Skippo!

She is survived by her children Kim Anderton (Rod), Cheryl Kennedy (Dale), Garfield Fisher (Carmen), Bradley Fisher (Jeanette), her two beautiful grandsons, Liam and Cohen Fisher, her fur baby Bella and her only surviving sister June Garfield. She was predeceased by her siblings and beloved husband Ron.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to all those at the Regional Hospital and the outstanding care and affection given to her by the Ridgewood Veterans Facility. A heartfelt thank you to Pam, Denise, Carolyn, Joanne, and Dave who cared for mom while at home and in the hospital.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424).  At the request of the deceased and family there will be no visitation. A private graveside service will take place at a later time. Donations can be made to the Ridgewood Veterans Facility or Romero House.
