Elizabeth "Betty" May (Weaver) Betts

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Elizabeth “Betty” May (Weaver) Betts on September 18, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  She was born in Saint John on July 27, 1930 to the late Frank and Mary (Allison) Weaver and was the loving wife to her late husband, Lawrence “Larry” Betts who passed away in 2003.

She is survived by her son, Craig Betts; daughter, Wanda (Randal) Walsh; four adored grandchildren, Sarah, Kevin, Sean and David; as well as great granddaughter, Nora; sister, Priscilla Taylor, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  In keeping with Betty’s wishes, no visitation will be held.  A private service for friends and close family will take place at a later date.  For those who wish, memorial donations in her memory to the St. Mary’s & St. Bartholomew’s Church would be appreciate by her family.
