It is with broken hearts that the family of Daryl Glenn Williams announces his passing on May 13, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Saint John on April 12, 1954, he was the son of the late Ronald and Ruth (Beaton) Williams.
A lover of the outdoors, Daryl was always looking for new projects to take on – be it working on his yard or tending to his garden. He was a maverick builder, and loved a good challenge, often inventing things he needed like a true MacGyver. Most of all, he was a very loving father to his three boys. As a father, he was truly the real deal and even in later years as his health began to decline, he showed so much love and appreciation for the care he was given by his son Jeff.
Daryl will be missed beyond words by his son, caretaker, and best friend Jeff Williams, son Ross Williams (Crystal Harris), and son Eric Williams; sister Sharon (Glen) Veysey; nieces and nephews; as well as several grand-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmoreland Rd., Saint John, NB (506-646-2424). A Funeral Service celebrating Daryl’s life will be held at St. Mary’s and St. Bartholomew’s Church on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 11AM. Interment will be at Fernhill Cemetery.
