Christina Audrey Douglass

Christina Audrey Douglass, 89, passed away peacefully at the Rocmaura Nursing Home on Sunday, August 21, 2022. Born in Saint John on December 25, 1932, Christina was the daughter of the late Robert and Emily (Hall) Bree.

Christina is survived by her sisters Eleanor “Sally” Gulley, Barbara Edison, Loretta Mitchell, and Lillian Foreman; grandson Spencer “George” Bree; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Aside from her parents, Christina was predeceased by her son Neville, her sisters Audrey Bacon and Agnes Bree, and her loving stepmother Mary Bree. Our entire family adored our “Tickey.” She was a faithful servant of God. She loved life, her family, and her friends. Our hearts are heavy. However, we are comforted in knowing that she is free of pain and is now our guardian angel.

Our family wishes to thank the Rocmaura nurses and staff for the kindness and care given to Christina every day. 

Christina is resting comfortably at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB. Visitation will be Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 9:30-10:30 am. A graveside service will be held at Fernhill Cemetery immediately following the visitation.
