It is with great sadness that the family of Cheryl Ann McLellan (Ferguson) announce her sudden passing on May 30th, 2023. She is predeceased by her husband, Allan McLellan and mother Kathryn Elaine Ferguson. She is survived by her father Carl, her two sons Makyle (Joy) and Drae, granddaughter Lani, brother Chris (Penny), her two nieces Mary (Matt) and Jayne (Skyler), her great niece Penny, her life partner Tony van der Schaal, many cousins and aunts and uncles.
Cheryl was a vibrant free spirit who radiated positive energy and a lasting impression wherever she was. She was the most nurturing and supportive mother; her sons were her world. She most recently became a grandmother (Nana) and her granddaughter was her new obsession. She could not get enough of baby Lani. Even through hardships, she was strong beyond words. She always had a smile on her face and her laugh was contagious. She had a great love of music and if she wasn’t seen sneaking up on stage, she’d be dancing up front at any show. She was the number one groupie for her brother. Cheryl and her partner of 17 years, Tony, enjoyed their travelling and time spent together never missing a Sunday dinner. Cheryl spent the last 14 years working for Kent as the "mother of the 5th floor" building relationships all over the Atlantic region. Cheryl will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road on Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 2-6pm.
Donations in her memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
