It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charlotte Catherine (Ellis) LeBlanc on October 21st, 2024 at the Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 77. Born on November 8, 1946 in Saint John, she was the daughter of George and Edna (Beckingham) Ellis.
Charlotte is survived by son Daniel Bonnar (Maria) and their son Teddy; daughter Charlene Bonnar (David Gosman); brothers David Ellis (Winnie) and Richard Ellis; sisters Ruth Hammoth and Georgina Shaw (Gerry); chosen grandchildren Desiree LeBlanc, Alexa LeBlanc, Brenthy Gosman and Brian Gosman Jr.; best friend Lorraine Powell, several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Predeceased by her husband Raymond LeBlanc; brothers Charlie, Bobbie, Donnie, Jimmy, Johnny, George and Howard; sisters Marjorie and Ella; infant daughter Darlene Fay and step-daughter Dana "Cookie" LeBlanc as well as the father of her children Maurice Bonnar and her former spouse Carl Savoie.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Home Care Plus, Oromocto Extra-Mural Program and the staff of 4BS at the Saint John Regional Hospital for all of their kindness, care and compassion during a difficult time.
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (506-646-2424). Visitation will be held on Monday, October 28th, 2024 from 4 pm - 8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 29th, 2024 at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at St. Josephs Cemetery, 327 Westmorland Road, Saint John.
