Brian Kelly

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Brian Raymond Kelly that occurred on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Rocmaura Nursing Home.

Brian was born on September 15, 1946, and was the son of the late Raymond and Bernice (White) Kelly. A graduate of Saint John Vocational School, he had many jobs in his preferred field of versatile manufacturing. Some of which included the Bank of Nova Scotia, Western British American Insurance and the Hudson Bay Company for 10 in Western Canada. Brian also served in the military as a member of the reserves.

Brian had many interests; travelling, watching TV, especially science fiction movies, studying anthropology, listening to music and having a good nap, just to name a few.  

He is survived by his nieces Vanessa Shonaman (her children Dylan and Tyler), Stacey Sloan (her daughter Mikayla), and nephew David Adams (his children Wyatt and Titus).

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings Sandra Kelly, Linda Adams, Rhonda Shonaman and Gary Kelly. 

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, January 16th at 2:30pm in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. The funeral procession will depart from the funeral home at 2:15pm. For those who wish, donations in his memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
