Aaron K. Lavigne

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Aaron Kevin Lavigne which occurred unexpectedly on Thursday, June 8th, 2023. Born 2001, in Saint John, he is the son of Kyle and Jenna Lavigne.  Aaron graduated from Simonds High School and was enrolled at UNBSJ in a Bachelor of Arts program, majoring in English.  He enjoyed playing video games, listening to music and making people laugh with his dry sense of humor.  Animals loved Aaron's calm demeanor and always flocked to him. He’ll be greatly missed by all who knew him.  

Along with his parents, Aaron is survived by his brother Derek Lavigne; sisters Jordan and Victoria Lavigne; grandparents Victor and Debbie Lavigne; Sam and Tracy Latimer; uncles Paul Lavigne (Vanessa) and Keith Lavigne (Natalie), cousins Dawson; Rhett as well as his biological mother Amanda Burke and good friends (TJ and Lucas).

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424).  A Celebration of Aaron’s Life will take place at a later date.  Donations in his memory may be made to The Canadian Mental Health Association.
