To all of the Olsen clan....I know your mother, grandmother, great garndmother wouldn't want this to be a sad occassion. She lived a full life!! I don't know where to start...what a great mother, 'lady' of faith, a great laugh, she handled adversity with wonderful grace! Your mom was a very wise, kind person who taught me a lot as a young man. She was the definition of what a mother should be!! God rest her soul.

My thoughts are with you. I have fond memories of your mom, especially all of the Christmas gatherings at your home with family. Over the past few years when I would see her at family gatherings she would say, Joanie, I am ready to go." And now she is at peace.

Even though I only met Grammy Olsen once, when I was young, I knew that she was a very special woman. She would send me birthday cards every year, half way across Canada, just to let me know she was thinking of me. Her memory and the love she shared will live on through all of the wonderful people she touched in her life, and the special children she raised. She will be missed, but never forgotten.
