Tim was a childhood friend,w and when he was young we always enjoyed the visits from him and his Grandmother Nellie. On several occasions they would arrive with Timmy behind the wheel of the car, and just barely able to touch the peddles or see out the Window. Years later we would sometimes meet while Timmy was out for a walk, I would pick him up and give him a ride home. As others stated he always had a smile and a story to tell, the last time I saw him, he spoke with great excitement about his son, and he showed me a picture. A great man, taken too soon who will be sadly missed. To the family, may the hands of God help carry your heavy burden, and may you find happiness in the memories on those dark days ahead.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the Winters family. I knew Timmy from working with him at the Save Easy in St. George 20 years ago. Timmy was always very friendly and always said hi. Everyone always got along with Timmy. He always put a smile on my face every time I seen him. He will be deeply missed. See you in Heaven Timmy.

We had been long time neighbours of the Winters family and knew Timmy from a child. We enjoyed visits from Timmy when he came from Saint John. Timmy fought a long and hard battle with cancer.Now he is at peace without pain. God bless the whole family.

I was saddened to learn of Timmie's passing. He always had a smile on his face, and a warm greeting when he saw you, didn't matter if it had been days, months, or years, he was always happy to see you once again. He was a good friend to many, and those friends will miss him dearly. Myself included.

Dear Harvey & family -- we are so sorry to hear of the passing of Timmy. I have such good memories of Timmy when we moved back here in the mid-90's. Would meet him in the Mall in St. George and he was so friendly, upbeat & always polite -- if you were having a bad day, he immediately turned it into a good one. We missed him when he went to Saint John but were so happy for him to have found the love of a soul-mate and being a parent. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
