My dear cousin Steven and I were only 10 days apart and although we lived on opposite ends of the country and had very different lives, we shared a bond of both blood and friendship. He was a very good and totally unique man whom I will miss greatly. Hope to get to Chance Harbour next summer to pay my respects in person... With love, Tom Shand, Edmonton, Alberta.

My condolences to you and our extended family. You loved and cared for Steven with pure devotion. He was a great man , a real man with a great heart .
Unfortunately I am out of country and can't be there for the service. I am That I saw you and Steve a few months ago in chance harbour. our family ( Tom and Janet) will be sending something as unfortunately we can't attend the memorial.
May he rest in peace with his parents and others .
