One never thinks the day will come when someone my own age passes away. Royce and I grew up together, started in Grade ! together and it was on Royce's bicycle that I learned to ride one. Indeed a lot of memories and it was a shock this morning when Don Flewelling called to tell me of Royce's passing. We are all the same age. Stephen and Stacy, I knew your dad years ago, we had loads of fun together. I just heard of his passing from Mo Olive and just saw it in the paper. I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad was one of the kindest and gentlest people I have ever had the privilege to know. Royce was more like a brother to me and definetly a good and faithful friend..
From borrowing his truck over the years, too bending each others ears with the worries or woes each of us had on that particular day, or just sharing a bottle or two or three ''many times'' and talking about God knows what or who,he will always be there in my most precious memories.
Even though we haven't been as close over the past couple years , he will always be in my thoughts and I am proud to say that he was my ''Friend''.
