My thoughts and prayers go out to Roy's family. I worked with Roy for a great number of years at Rocmaura. Roy brought so much joy to the home when he was working. He cared deeply for the residents and also helped the staff and worked so well with them and always had a smile and always told us about his fishing trips and family. It is a great loss for the family and community. I will always remember you Roy in my prayers...

Elizabeth, Lisa, Michael, and all the rest of your family, I am truly sorry for your loss. Roy was a larger than life and better than goodness person. His gift of giving so selflessly brought great comfort and happiness to so many as he touched lives throughout the community. My father, Keith Hobson, and all our family, were so thankful for his ministrations and kindness to an aged man in his last years. There was greatness in this humble man. Roy will be much and truly missed. My thoughts are with you in you grief and sadness.

So sad to hear of Roy's passing. I worked with Roy for several years at Rocmaura and always loved his humour and his caring passion for the residents and his family. If the two of us were working today, he would be coming in to tell me how many pails of blueberries he had picked. I never knew when he would sneak up behind me in the mall with some tale or other. RIP, Roy.

Condolences to you Liz and your family. I had the pleasure of working with "Roysie" for many many years at Rocmaura. If I was working with him guaranteed a good shift with his quick wit, jokes, laughter and stories about his family.
I along with other friends from Rocmaura had the opportunity to visit with him numerous times during his stay at Bobby's Hospice. We had many laughs as we looked back on our working years together.

Condolences to you Liz and family. I had the great pleasure of working with "Roysie" for many, many years at Rocmaura. When Roy was working with you on your shift guaranteed you would have a great shift filled with jokes , laughter and stories of his wife, children, grandchildren.
Myself and other friends of Roy's from Rocmaura had the pleasure of a few visits eith him. Again his jovial spirit and stories made the visits pleasant as we spoke of the good times we shared at Rocmaura.

We were so sorry to hear of Roy's passing. He looked after Neil's dad, Keith Hobson until he passed away 3 years ago. Neil's dad thought a lot of Roy. Roy would sometimes bring him lobster sandwiches from home for his lunch. We have many great memories of the time Roy spent with Neil's dad.
