The members of St. Margaret Sailing Club (SMSC) were saddened to hear of the passing of Kingsley. Kingsley and his wife, Pauline, were highly respected and treasured members of our Club. Kingsley volunteered his time to make a number of improvements to our facilities. Among his many contributions, Kingsley built and donated tables, and constructed the cupboards the kitchen. Kingsley also dropped by SMSC during the week to keep repairs and maintenance up to date. Through it all, Kingsley had a friendly smile and pleasant disposition.

Kingsley and Pauline kept their sailboat moored in front of the club for many years and enjoyed cruising the Bay and other ports of call during their summer cruises. Pauline also offered a helping hand on many occasions, baked goods and sold tickets, and was always available when extra help was needed for social activities. The couple was extremely popular and left an indelible mark on our clubhouse and the membership of SMSC.

Dear Pauline:
I was sorry to hear the news of Kingsley's passing. I truly enjoyed our many encounters during my time as Commodore at St. Margarets' Sailing Club. Kingsley gave a great deal of his time to our growing club, always willing to contribute his talents; and you were his steadfast and spirited partner. You were such a great team! I often think of Kingsley when I look around the club now, full of youth sailors and social/boating members. You two will forever remain a positive memory for me. May he rest in peace. XOXO Janet

Condolences to Pauline, Susan and Lee and families on the passing of a beloved husband , father and grandfather . Pauline and Kingsley were my delightful neighbours in Seabright/Glen Margaret . They had so many wonderful stories about their lifetimes in the area. I missed them very much when they moved to the city. They were a strong presence at SMSC and could be counted on to attend many a club function and to support our young sailors. Their beloved sailboat and their stories of cruising were legendery. Always loved Pauline's story about why at 80 years they were giving up sailing. She said she had difficulty hopping from the deck of the sailboat on to a wharf or a dock to catch a mooring line. Pauline and Kingsley were great role models for many of us . Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I would be honoured to attend Kingsley's service at William Black Cemetery. Love, Beth Creighton McGee

Our heartfelt wishes to you and your family on Kingsley's passing. We have such fond memories of the two of you and the times we shared at SMSC. You were one of my favourite couples, and we missed you when you moved on to new endeavours. Every time we set up for a club event, and we pull out "Kingsley's tables", I think of the both of you. We all shared good times during those early years, when your boat was one of the few that was moored in front of the club. That is how I will remember him, rowing the two of you out to the mooring, Pauline. XXOO

I am so sad to hear of King Churchill's passing. Our family had known King and Pauline from the start of their days in Port Hawkesbury, and my parents truly cherished their friendship. I was always grateful to King for hiring me as a summer student at the "mill" which launched me in a career in the Pulp and Paper Industry.
Our sincere condolences to Pauline, Lee and Susan on this sad loss.

I was very sorry to read about Mr. Churchill. I knew all of you as I grew up in the Apts. on 22nd. Ave. in Edmundston. What great memories I have of the fun we all had on 22nd. Ave. You may remember me as Gwennie Allison. We lived in #5, next to you and shared the same back porch steps. Mom (Ruby) and Dad(Russell) are both gone now, but over the years your names got drawn into our conversations many times.
Enjoy all of your great memories of Mr. Churchill.
Hugs!
