Al and I are so sorry for your loss. We just found out about Peters passing today and are speechless. We so enjoyed having Peter open and close our pool and listening to all his stories. He was always smiling and happy no matter what. We will miss him. We hope your memories will give you comfort during this very sad time.

My condolences to the Matchett family with the passing of Peter. I was one of Peter's pool gals and looked forward to seeing him when he came to the house. Peter had the gift to gab about the Canadiens and Deanna. He was a hard worker and I relied on him many times to help me out with the pool.

Deanna and family

Robbie worked with your Dad for quite a while, doing pool work. I i think i meet you when your were around 10 and basically watched you bloom to a beautiful lady you were here many times with your Dad. Your dad was just here last weekend that night as always when i asked about u all he did was brag. We are all sad now because he was such an awesome guy, You lost your Mom and Dad at such a young age, as I did also. Just always remember you were better to have had them and lose them to never had them at all. Its obvious they did a great job, looking after you, they are so proud of you Deanna. I believe in heaven and I know they are in good hands now. They are watching over you as your heart is so sad. Deanna you will miss them forever, I just know for a fact your Dad will miss you so much, I know your Dad had some heart issues, probaly due to sharing his generosity and heart felt kindness too so many. DEANNA your Dad was saving the best of his heart for last, and thats to be in your heart.

Love always Laura and Robbie Halpin

Deanna and Family,

We are so very sad to hear of Peter's unexpected passing. Peter was so very proud of you Deanna and was beaming with pride when I ran into him at Flewwellings when he was ordering your Graduation pictures. Trusting that knowing how much he loved you and the rest of his family will console you in the difficult days ahead.

With our deepest condolences,

Mark, Joanne, Maggie and Katie.

I've known Peter for many years as many of us had worked with him years ago at parkway mall when our pharmacy was there back then. He was always so funny, and friendly & it was always so nice to see him when he visited our store. I will miss him dearly. Thinking of you all & rest in peace Peter.

I am shocked and saddened to read of Peter's passing. He has been so good to us over the years with his pool expertise, and sometimes came to the rink to watch our son play hockey in the 'off' pool season. Peter had a spark and a good heart. He will be missed!

I am still shocked, and saddened by the passing of Peter. He was always smiling and funny when he came to tend to our pool - at least twice a year. Such a hard worker. My thoughts go out to his family at this heartbreaking time. He will be missed, for sure!
