Michael William Oram

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Michael William Oram, which occurred unexpectedly on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on January 7th, 1953 he was the son of the late William and Bertha (Marsh) Oram.

Michael was an Electrician by trade and a member of the IBEW Local 502. He worked for Jacobs Catalytic at the Irving Oil Refinery for the past 20 years.  He also coached the Simonds Minor League Football.  Michael enjoyed fishing and had a love of nature. He will always be remembered for his great story telling around the bonfire together with his family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved daughter Chantal McLaughlin of Dover, NH and grandson Cameron, brother Patrick (Paulette) Oram, sister Mary Jane (Mike) McGrath, sister in law Janice Oram and a niece, and several nephews and cousins.

He will be sadly missed and always remembered. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother Danny Oram .

Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  The family will hold a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
