Oh Marion, we just wish we could be there to give you a big hug. We are sending up many prayers for you and yours. We'll continue to hold you in our hearts through the coming days. Unfortunately we won't be able to attend the visitation or funeral as we will be out of town but our prayers will be there. What I remember most about Marven is that he gave me my one and only large truck ride. He was so kind and thoughtful. I believe it won't be long before the Lord comes back and we will all be together again!! Take heart in that.

Lillian had told me a week ago about Marven, I opened Facebook tonight and saw his posting on my daughter's fb. I could not believe it as she had information of a month but I know cancer is no respector of time or people.

Dear Marion, Shelley, Sue and all other immediate family we just want to say that Marven has been a huge blessing to us since we met him at Beulah campground three years ago. His constant smile and his loving and friendly demeanour has made him a very beloved friend. When we came to the campground and your lights weren't on, one of us were always quick to say, "Marven and Marion aren't here yet. Hope they are going to arrive soon". We will miss him deeply and share in your deep loss. And Marven , you get the camper set up and the camp fire burning because we are all going to gather there together once again ! Marion, Susan, Shelly and extended family...We will always remember Marvin for his huge hugs, warm smiles and for his Christian stand. Our lives and hearts connected largely through times spent at Beulah, but we often crossed paths at the same restaurants. We fondly called him "Starvin' Marven". We all say "so long, see you soon" without knowing that it could be the last time...for now. We will never forget you, sweet friend!

I am very sorry for your loss Marion. Marven was a nice guy. I remember when you both attend my grammy Mona's church. He was always giving out hugs. He was such a nice Christian man. It is heaven's gain to have him. Remember this is not goodbye, but merely a see you later as he is NOT dead, but in heaven waiting for you to come home too. Love, hugs and prayers.
