Her chains are gone, she's been set free...she fought a good fight and finished the race and she is now rejoicing in Heaven (I have no doubt that Nan is right by her side, friends reunited again!). To Leona's Family, I was sadden to hear of Leona's passing. Her suffering is over and she is with God. I have known Leona since I was a young girl living on Simond St. She loved the Lord but I didn't personally find Him until years later. I will be praying for all of you that God will give you strength at this time and the days ahead. She will be sadly missed.

And yes, always thinking of others first. That is what she always did. Going through things, she thought you could use. Tucking a few dollars here and there, treating you to a nice meal, giving, giving, giving. Helping out wherever & whenever she could. That was part of who Leona was. Wonderful friend, a true flower in the garden of friends.
