My deepest sympathies to Jordie's family. He will be so missed at River Valley. Jordie was 1 of a kind and he made me smile everyday. I loved our chats and "dances" as he would answer me with his legs and Lori and I would say he was dancing with us.
Jordie has touched each and everyone of us at RVMS. I saw him bring out so much compassion in our students. It was such a joy to have him in my homeroom and watch the students read with him every morning. Each time we had an outing the class wanted to make sure Jordie was able to come along. He was such an integral part of our family. I really don't know if I can do our yearly class trip to the pumpkin patch as Jordan and lori came with us each June and made it that much more special. Don't tell, but lori and I would give Jordie just a little taste of vanilla ice cream and he would smile,Lick his lips and have a great time.
If this incredible young man could have that much influence on me in such a short time, I can only imagine the influence on his family. Please take some solitude in knowing what an incredible young man you raised and how much he impacted the lives of everyone he touched.
Jordie you will be so missed. Rest in peace.
