Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. As you reflect on good memories take comfort in God's promise to end all death and suffering. He also promises that we will be with our loved ones again here on earth enjoying the blessings of God's new Kingdom. Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away..” John 11:25 " Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life"

So sorry to hear about Dad. He surely endured more than his share of physical aliments during thesse last number of years. Anybody who knows John will agree that he has more than paid his dues for a better place, free of pain and hospital visits ! Working with John in better times years ago, I can easily recall his distinctve, hearty laugh, recognizable along the school hallways....nice memory. John, rest in peace and get back to that golf course in your new place of residence ! Joanne and Peter

We knew John for 5 days as Joe shared a room in hospital with him. He impressed us greatly in that short time. He appreciated everyone and everything and often expressed his pleasure with a resounding "OH WOW!". A very nice man indeed. Condolences to John's family. RIP John.

I spent a lot of time with the family as a close friend of John's daughter, Laurie. I have very fond memories of John, who always made me feel welcome. I remember his sense of humour and his laugh. He will be missed. Much love to the family.
