I was so very very sad to learn of Jennifer's passing. I have many wonderful memories of her from when we first met as mature students finishing up our BEds, put on hiatus to raise families. Both from SJ and both in early childhood added to our shared challenges as returning students. Jennifer and I went on to do our MEds also, often meeting for lunch to complain about university politics! Our career paths diverged when she went to teach K and I taught adults but she hosted many a student for our programme. Jennifer was a Master Teacher. If we could have cloned her NB would have been on the international map for " play" or " activity based" K. She was a genius at balancing academic content within the context of guided play. Her deep sense of justice, care and love for her students made her the cream of many crops. I loved her sense of humour the most, often tongue in cheek. Just last summer we met in a store but our lengthy conversation was about our other loves: grandchildren. I apologize for not being there for the visitation or funeral to say this but an unable due to personal circumstances. Please accept my deepest condolences and know Jennifer will always be inspirational in so many ways to those of us who knew her. Leslie Allan

Heaven always gets the best of us. Jennifer was a wonderful woman, so caring and passionate. She was always willing to give anything to anyone. Her spirit will live on in those she touched, that being many. Through her teaching, mentoring, Church, and her sewing group girls she has left a permanent mark on many lives. I will always remember her. I am so sorry for your loss, her family was always number one to her. She will always be with you.

Dear Brian, Adam, and Lindy,
Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Jennifer. I have many fond memories of coming to babysit. Your home was always full of warmth and love and there was always Jennifer's delicious home baking for the babysitter to sample. Long after my babysitting days were over, I had the luck of taking a summer course at UNBSJ with your mother. I entered the classroom knowing no one and Jennifer quickly called me over, introduced me to the class, since she knew them all and drove me back and forth to UNBSJ for the remainder of the classes. Jennifer was a great lady and may her love and spirit carry you through this difficult time.
Love and Prayers,
Susan Moore
