Sorry to hear of Ian Passing, I worked with Ian on Sea Trials at Dry Dock days which we shared stories of Military French Foreign Legion (United Arab Emirates) 13th Demi-Brigade & French Guiana 3rd Infantry Regiment. Ian was a great sea mate & ex military man who had strong esprit de corps who ever he worked with.What a great painter & Artiest,story teller. I will think of Ian every Bastille Day Military Parade in Paris France,legion leading the way every July.

I worked with Ian for years at the DryDock many night stories of the French legion what a guy. had a chance to buy one of his art work but times were tight wish I would have a real nice person in my books

Sorry to hear of Ian's passing. I kew him briefly when he lived in St Andrews. One of his paintings hangs at the head of our bed, actually my favorite painting in our house. A very well done painting of two old sail warships at battle. It was a house warming present from my brother. We have a new grandson, and he takes a long look at it every time he goes in the room. He will live on in our house.
