I am an old friend of Gary's sister Jacky. I never met Gary, but always wanted to, however I live in Victoria and Gary in Saint John. I always heard stories about Gary, how loving he was, how he loved to have fun and laugh and how he brought joy to those around him, especially for Jacky.
To the family I offer my profound condolences and take comfort in believing that Gary is seated somewhere close to God in heaven.

Well the world has truly lost a pure soul. You were always so lively from singing to your many music cd's to playing quarter bingo and enjoying your niece and nephew's. Even though my children were not your biological nephew’s you always made my children feel like they were part of the family. Every time I went to the house you always asked me “How's the Boys”. As your health failed you always remember everyone’s birthdays and would remind us of them. It made me feel special that you like the puddings i would make you. Love ya uncle Gary you will be missed by myself and the boys.
