My sincere sympathy in the passing of Betty. I was the Head nurse on 4th South at the old General years ago when Betty was a Ward Attendent. What a pleasure to have her on staff with always a smile and chuckle coupled with her delightful Scottish dialect. In later years and I moved on to Administration I would continue to hear her pleasant voice over the intercom from Switchboard. She was a wonderful person.

I liked Betty very much! She was always very nice to talk to and I used to love hearing her make announcements on the PA system, a lovely melodic accent. We know she was very loved and I am praying for you at this difficult time. She was a trooper who never gave up despite her health challenges.
