Edward Stanley Dunphy

With sadness, the family announces the passing of Edward “Eddie” Stanley Dunphy of Saint John, NB, on July 26, 2016 at Horizon Health Miramichi, NB, at the age of 86.

Edward is survived by his wife Dena (Fulton); children Anne (Brian) Carter, Michael (Robin) Baird, Bobbi (Tom) McCaig, Peggy (Arthur) McLean and Lori Dunphy; grandchildren Angela (Chuck), Mark (Tami), Tabitha (Mike), Taylor (Dan), Allison (Nick), Aaron (Chris), Arika (Zac) and Graham (Ashley); great-grandchildren Brooklyn, Colton, Karissa, Hailie, Cohen, and Preston; sisters Audrey Hughes, Thelma MacMillan and Theresa (George) Roy. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Mabel (Cackett) and siblings Evelyn Hilden, John, Florence Coyle, Walter and Robert.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) on Thursday July 28, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Friday July 29, 2016 at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to Hospice Miramichi.
