Donald Herbert Robertson

 It is with great sadness the family announce the death of Donald Herbert Robertson of Saint John, who passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday July 14, 2017 with loving family at his side. Born in Charlotte County on December 29, 1944, he was the only child of the late Donald and Anna (Matthews) Robertson. Don worked as a parts manager for the Automotive Industry for many years. He was an outdoor enthusiast and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Don is survived by his devoted wife and friend Patricia Moore-Robertson; sons Wally Moore (Julie) and Donald Roy Robertson (Kelly); daughters Vicki Moore-Scoville (Wayne), Laura Moore-Simpson and Carolyn Robertson (Mike); precious grandchildren Adam, Chris, Robert, Shania, Kelsey, Selena, Roxane, Allison, Marlee, Donald Cole and Travis; several great-grandchildren;  aunt Doreen Lyons (Carol) cousins and special cousin Elaine Cooke (Terry) and canine companion Buffy. Along with his parents, Don was predeceased by step-father Roy Hope; uncle Herbert, uncle Stillman and aunt Carol; and son-in-law Trent Simpson.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). By Don’s request there will be no visitation or service.  Donations in Don’s memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, Palliative Care at the SJRH or the charity of the donor’s choice.
