None of Donnie's family would know me, I don't think, but I worked with him on the Saint John harbor bridge and played pool with him at the old Al's Pool Hall on Waterloo Street. He was a real shark on the pool table, but I remember him more for being a great guy. He was 6 years older than me, but we became friends, despite the fact that I never beat him on the table. Please accept my condolences on the passing of a great guy, and an excellent 8-ball and snooker player.

I spent a lot of hours with Donnie in various Billiard Parlours over the years & there was never a "dull moment" when he was in the house. A real upbeat personality for sure.
Sorry I can not pay my respect in person, so I just would like to send my thoughts & prayers to Donnie's family.

John and family, we are so blessed we had the pleasure of spending time with your dad, he was truly an amazing man and had a quality that not many had or wished they had, it was to make others laugh and he was a pro at that.
