None of Donnie's family would know me, I don't think, but I worked with him on the Saint John harbor bridge and played pool with him at the old Al's Pool Hall on Waterloo Street. He was a real shark on the pool table, but I remember him more for being a great guy. He was 6 years older than me, but we became friends, despite the fact that I never beat him on the table. Please accept my condolences on the passing of a great guy, and an excellent 8-ball and snooker player.

I spent a lot of hours with Donnie in various Billiard Parlours over the years & there was never a "dull moment" when he was in the house. A real upbeat personality for sure.
Sorry I can not pay my respect in person, so I just would like to send my thoughts & prayers to Donnie's family.
RIP my friend.

John and family, we are so blessed we had the pleasure of spending time with your dad, he was truly an amazing man and had a quality that not many had or wished they had, it was to make others laugh and he was a pro at that. He will be deeply missed but always with us in heart and mind. Thinking of all of you at this difficult time.
