A great mind has gone to rest. Back in the day, Dale entertained many of us with his scientific gadgets and his unique inventions. He inspired many students in the study of science. Dale will be missed, and fondly remembered.

I was four years older than Dale, I remember him as a kind, gentle and intelligent person. He was a friend of my brothers Leonard and John. Leonard called me in Moncton to tell me the sad news of his friend, Dale's death. Leonard often spoke of Dale over the years and I expect to hear more stories as long as life goes on for us. Leonard always visited Dale on his birthday, a few days before his own. Some years Dale wasn't even aware of the date. What would the world be like if we were all the same and didn't have special folks like Dale -with his quiet unassuming nature in our midst ! If I ever write a book, Dale will a have a chapter in it. God rest your soul fellow Red Towner, you are remembered fondly. Nellie & Dan Wright

So sad to lose such a good man. I've had many good natured arguments with Dale over a great many subjects. The thought that I will never have another discussion with him breaks my heart. You were a good man and a kind soul and you will be missed my friend.

I send my sincere condolences to the family. Although I have not seen Dale in many years, I remember him from school days; he always had a sweet disposition and smile whenever we spoke. He has passed too soon and will be missed. So sorry for your loss.
