Cathy S. Williams

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Cathy Shem Williams which occurred at Carleton Kirk Nursing Home on Sunday, January 22nd, 2017.  Born 1953, in Saint John, she was the daughter of Barbara (Melanson) Judge and the late Harry Judge.  Cathy was a stay at home mom.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and had a great love for her pets.

Cathy is survived by her son John Williams (Susan) of Saint John; daughters Tara Williams of Moncton, Kristy Cheley (Michael) of Nerepis; sister Colleen Hood (the late David) of Saint John; grandson Tyler Williams; nieces Lori and Julie Hood and special friend David Doyle.  Besides her father, Cathy was predeceased by her husband Brian Williams.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Wednesday, January 25th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.  As per Cathy’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.  A private interment will take place at a later date.  Donations in Cathy’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Kidney Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
