Catherine B. Adams

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Catherine Brannon (Taylor) Adams which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, August 20th, 2015.  Born 1935, in Greenock, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late William and Christine (Simpson) Taylor.   Catherine moved to Canada in 1962.  She was a weaver in Scotland, a house keeper at the Wandlyn, a custodian at KV High School, and a full time mom.  Catherine loved her cottage, time at the trailer, her bingo and most of all her family and her house built by her husband in 1965.

Catherine is survived by her loving husband Joseph Adams of 63 years; daughter Irene (Eddie) of St. Martins; sons William (Mary) of Long Reach, Joseph (Crystal) of Red Head; sister Irene Borsato (Harry) of Ontario; grandchildren Andrew, Amanda, Gregory, Joshua, Jacqueline; great-grandchildren Noah, Henry and Landen; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.  Besides her parents, Catherine was predeceased by her sisters Chrissy, Sadie, and Betty, brother Billy and grandson Robert. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  A funeral service will take place from the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Monday, August 24th at 2 p.m.  Interment will take place at a later date.  Donations in memory of Catherine may be made to the Romero House or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
