Carole Giggey

Carole Winnifred (Losier) Giggey of Saint John, went to be with her Lord and Savior at Rocmaura Nursing Home on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the age of 77.  Carole was born in Saint John to the late Lawrence and Elizabeth (Gorveatt) Losier.

She was an active member of the First Wesleyan Church on Boars Head Road in Saint John and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. 

Carole is survived by her two daughters; Dawn-Marie (John) of Fredericton, and Heather Lynn (Kenneth) of Saint John, grandson; Robert (Ashley), three step-grandchildren; Adam (Chikako), Angela (Andrew), and Erin (Aaron), great-grandchildren; Lauren and Nicole, sisters; Shirley and Marjorie.

Along with her husband Bob and parents, she was predeceased by her three brothers; Kenneth, Robert and Lawrence, and five sisters; Phyllis, Joan, Audrey, Edith and Beryl.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  In accordance with Carole’s wishes, she will be resting at the funeral home Monday, July 20, from 10:30am-12pm, with a funeral service immediately following visitation and burial at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.  The family would appreciate donations made to the charity of one’s choice.  The family would like to sincerely thank Rocmaura Nursing Home for the care and compassion shown to Carole over the past two years.
