Anne, Rick, Emily, Rachel and all of the Peacock family:

Our deepest condolences on the passing of your Father. Our thoughts and prayers
are with you.
May you find comfort in the words of Henry Scott-Holland.

Death is nothing at all.
It does not count.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
Nothing has happened.

Everything remains exactly as it was.
I am I, and you are you,
and the old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged.
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.

Call me by the old familiar name.
Speak of me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no difference into your tone.
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.

Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was.
Let it be spoken without an effort, without the ghost of a shadow upon it.

Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was.
There is absolute and unbroken continuity.
What is this death but a negligible accident?

Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am but waiting for you, for an interval,
somewhere very near,
just round the corner.

All is well.
Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost.
One brief moment and all will be as it was before.
How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting when we meet again!

Robert, Sandra, Anne and families,
Very saddened to hear of your Dad's passing. I have many fond memories of our times together. He was my first mentor and enjoyed many experiences.
I still have the boat he helped me build in 1969.
Gwyn will never forget the time he took us flying.
Forever remembered

Dear Ron, from the bottom of our hearts , thank you. You and your brother Ken meant the world to Dad. You were both like sons to him and I remember those years like yesterday. You were both like Big Brothers to all of us. I remember that boat! I played in it when no one was in the workshop. What a wonderful treasure to still have. Great memories!
Thank you both for sharing this and remembering my Dad.
With a heavy heart , sincerely,
Sandra

Robert, Anne and Sandra: I was quite saddened today to see the death of your Dad, Bruce. Bruce made a very large impact to my life, having helped me through my school years by allowing me to work at the greenhouse. He will be remembered as one of the kindest and smartest people I have known. He will be missed. Regards, Ron

Dear Ron, my Dad absolutely adored you and your brother Kenny. You were like his sons and big brothers to us. I'll always remember your presence at the greenhouses and picking us up at school when Dad couldn't make it. It means so much to me that Dad touched your life . He often spoke of you both over the years with warmth and great memories and of course humour💜Thank you so much.
