Bev Gordon Stymiest

Bev Gordon Stymiest passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at his home. Born in Saint John, NB on April 12, 1951, he is the son of Florence (Allen) Stymiest and the late Gordon James Stymiest.

Bev worked as an auto body repairman for Vince’s Auto Salvage and numerous other body shops throughout the years. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his children Darren Stymiest (Judy) of Vernon, BC, Dena Graham (Peter) of Quispamsis and Mark Stymiest of Garnett Settlement; their mother Lorna McKinney; cherished grandchildren Nikko, TJ, Makayla, Coleman, Raiden and Taylor; brother Murray Stymiest (Sharon) of Kingston, NB; sisters Linda Stoddard of Saint John, Lois Pawson (Gary) of Oromocto, and Judy Drew (Mark) of Saint John; several nieces and nephews.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Monday, December 5 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, December 6 at 10 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances in memory of Bev may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
