I was very sad to learn of Al's passing. I knew him from the flea market and over the years I've bought many military collectibles from him. Always enjoyed talking with Al - friendly guy, knowledgeable collector, a real gentleman. He will be missed by many.

I am deeply saddened by Allan's passing. Was a co-worker of Allan's at H R Block for 12 years. When anyone needed consultation, Allan had the experience and knowledge; he always took the call. How much he will be missed and remembered by our team and his clients. My deepest sympathies during this difficult time.

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Allan's passing. I worked with Allan for over 20 years both at Prince Edward Square as well as colleagues in different offices. He was dedicated to his profession and will be sorely missed by clients and co-workers past and present. I was fortunate to see him at Rhoda's Christmas Show a couple of weeks ago and we had a great chat.
My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
God Bless Allan and may you rest in peace.

I am saddened to read of Al's passing. We were 527 cadets from 1969-1974. Al was with us on our trip to England in 1974. We continued through university and then his collecting and selling days. Some days he got the better of me, some days I got the better of him - most times we were happy with our deals. Al will be missed by a lot of people. RIP.

My wife Judy & I live in the country, we do not subscribe to the daily newspaper. Upon checking the funeral home obits I was stunned to see my old friend Al. The last time he came to my house I was worried about his health. We talked about it at length. Al was such a nice guy and always so fair to have business dealings with. I had known him as well as his mom & dad for years back at my late fathers & my auction sales. He was always busy and rarely stayed a full day, but he always managed to leave absentee bids and I currently have some things he purchased that we never delivered to him. I remember his warmth upon the death of my son Eric. He stood beside me like a guard at the funeral parlour, his way of showing how much he cared. Al's knowledge in the collectors circle was great. If I couldn't research something I'd call Al. He loved to share his knowledge on any piece of military never fearing that I may use it against him to gain a higher dollar. He possessed a dry wit and always had a little twinkle in his eye. Well Al old boy, I hope you've made contact with family & friends especially Eric Bond who will sit and listen to your collector stories for hours on end. Judy & I and the staff of Bonds Auctions send our deepest most sincere condolences to Al's family on your loss.

So sorry to hear of Allan's passing. As a former antique dealer and collector, I talked to him countless times over the years at flea markets and antique shows and he answered many questions for me. He was kind and generous with his knowledge. I will miss seeing him each summer at the Sussex flea market. My sincere condolences.

We were very saddened to learn of Allan's passing and extend heartfelt sympathies and condolences to his extended family. I used to teach Allan when he was an Air Cadet in 527 Simonds Squadron. Most recently, on November 19th and 20th, Allan had a booth set-up at Rhoda's Christmas Craft Festival at Harbour Station, and he came over to chat with me. We had a wonderful visit and chatted about his interest in collecting, as well as about his father, Alex, who I knew very well through the Royal United Services Institute. Our caring thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. R.I.P., Allan.
Most sincerely,

Allan was a man with a wealth of knowledge, I first met Allan with his high school buddies when he was interested in military and other items of interest to him when I had my Antique shop on Union Street. Later on in years there was Allan at the Sussex Flea market all set up to sell his wares to younger people with interest in what he had to trade or sell , Allan had this sense of dry laughter, after he made a good deal on something he accomplished for his personal collection, Sadly i am felt with the lost of Allan,he was an asset to all whom knew him and his awareness of military items. RIP my friend

David, Ian and Evelyn,
I'm so very sorry and saddened to hear of Allan's passing. I remember fondly (and often) of the days we spent hiking back and forth on the path to Forest Hills School and chumming around in the neighbourhood - especially Allan's 13th or 14th birthday party in your parents' basement on Kelton. We had some good times. Allan was a great guy and, I'm positive, an even better brother. Please accept my deepest sympathies and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Take good care of each other.
Most sincerely,
-Tony Correia
