I remember when I first met Adam. He was a co-op student who came to work at NBTel and we ended up working together for quite a few years. We lost touch after I went to work in a different department, but I remember Adam as someone always, always, kind, ready to help, and it's so hard to believe he's gone. He was so happy and proud of his kids and you knew he was the kind of father who loved being a dad.

My sincere sympathies to all of Adam's family during this time of sadness. I went to high school with Adam and heard about his illness through mutual friends. Adam always made us laugh and was such fun. He had a way of making you feel special and you felt proud to be his friend. I hope his wife and children know that he was a great guy and they now have someone wonderful watching over them.

Brian for you and family we offer our love and condolences. Over the years we have watched as Adam grew into a young man and father emulating the family values and love shown by you and Jen. He carried forth a warm and friendly smile and a compassionate heart which is all that we hope from our children. No more can a parent ask from a child who is also a best friend. Adam's legacy is your golden treasure, the blessings of grandchildren. They are lucky to have you as grandfather to learn from and share the best of the past and of life ahead. The journey continues and God leads and guides our way. Always here if you need us. Ken & Barbara

I'm so very sorry to hear about Adam's passing, my deepest condolences go to his family and friends. As a little boy when we were classmates at Seawood School, he was an endlessly smiley and friendly kid; as adults, whenever I was lucky enough to bump into Adam, he always took time to say hello with his genuine good nature. He will be sadly missed.

I had the pleasure of working both with and for Adam during his time of working for Bell Mobility. Even though I was located in Toronto, Adam had a way of always staying connected and making you feel that what you had to say was important. Every moring, even if it was a short Instant Message notication to say "good morning" was a big step in keeping the team connected even though we were all miles apart. He was very proud of his family, and talked lovingly of his children often. He will be missed, but I will always remember his positive attitude, his outgoing personality and his bright smile.

I worked with Adam for a number of years at Bell Mobility, and was continually impressed with everything he contributed to the organization. To this day, there are many areas where he left his mark that we are reminded of daily. It is a terrible shock to all of us to lose such a tremendous individual, and I am so saddened by the news of his passing. I wish Adam's family much strength in bearing this loss. We will miss him.

While working at Bell Mobility I had some minor dealings with Adam's Pricing team. I didn't know Adam very well. I sent an email asking him if we could meet to discuss future opportunities on his team. I expected to get 10 minutes over the phone. Adam booked me for an hour one morning, encouraging me to meet over video conference. He shared insights and career advice that helped me in my career at Bell. I eventually ended up getting hired by the pricing team shortly after Adam left Bell. The pricing team is an amazing team that is close and helpful. People like Adam set the foundation for a team in a big company to feel like a second family.

Adam was the kind of person that was able to exude kindness over a career discussion. He didn’t really know me. I find myself both sad but lucky to have had the briefest of contact with someone willing to set time aside someone looking for help. It is truly a rare thing to be able to leave an impression on someone over an hour long conversation on a video call, yet he did.

I had the privilege of knowing Adam as both a former co-worker and friend. Adam had a reputation for being a ‘nice guy’ for a reason – he was warm, approachable and always had a smile on his face. We were a tight knit group in NBTel/Aliant Mobility and enjoyed one another’s company so much that we often made a point of spending time together outside of work. I remember when he first met Nicole and how excited he was to introduce her to us. My career eventually brought me away from Saint John, but I have such fond memories of my times with Adam and the Mobility family. I know he was a great father to his own family and there is definitely a new star shining brightly in the night sky ...

I met Adam for the first time shortly after he was hired at NBTel in his early twenties. I was working in the Executive Offices at the time and every month he would come up to our office with a monthly report for Jack Travis the VP. He made an impression, he was so polite and friendly, I always looked forward to seeing him.

As the years went on, our paths crossed again when I worked closely with him in Mobility. I got to know Adam much better then, as we often spent a few minutes each morning before our work day began catching up on the events of the evening before or the weekend. By then he had married and his children were born. He was so happy and incredibly proud of them all. His stories were often of his children's milestones and family events, it was obvious that being a husband and father were the great joys in his life. I remember during the strike in 2004 when his first born, Lauren came into the world. He was walking on air, and his happiness was contagious. When the boys came along, he was equally as thrilled.

I remember Adams kindness to me personally when I moved into a house on the west side by myself. He offered, and made sure I knew that if I ever needed any assistance with anything he was just a phone call away. I haven't seen him in a number years since I left Saint John, but he has always had a special place in my heart.

On the journey of life we are fortunate if we get to know people like Adam. He was one of the truly good people in the world. I am happy that I had the great privilege to cross paths with him. My sincere sadness and sympathies go out to his family. I hope there is some comfort to you all in knowing that in his too short life he made such an impact on so many.

I worked with Adam at Bell Aliant, and have to say he was one of the nicest people I have had the great fortune to know and to have worked with. Smart, funny, down to earth and sincere. He spoke of his children often and was a very proud dad. When they say "the good die young" this certainly applies to Adam. He will be missed, but many of us have fond memories.

WOW, God must have had a very large project to pull in an incredible person like Adam. I'm sure he will be leading a new team while being missed by the many he has touched here.

God Bless Nikki and the kids.
