Adam MacNeill

The too early death of Brian Adam MacNeill occurred in Saint John on October 7, 2015 at the age of 41. Adam was a good man and the very best kind of father to Lauren, Carter and Lucas. He was the son of Brian and the late Jennifer MacNeill, husband to Nicole (Selig) MacNeill, brother to Lindy (Jonathan) VanAmburg, uncle to Abigail and Nathaniel VanAmburg, and son-in-law to Ferne Selig (Darrell) and Greg Selig (Janis).  He was also predeceased by his grandparents Kay and Elmer MacNeill and Jean and Byron Webster.  He was fortunate to have many good friends and a large group of aunts, uncles and cousins.  Adam was as loyal and stubborn as they come, humble (but quietly proud of his black belt in taekwondo and loudly proud of his family), quick to offer help to others and often described as the nicest guy anyone could ever meet.  Adam was a long-time employee of Bell Aliant and was most recently a Director at RST Industries.

Please join us in celebrating his life with visitation at Fundy Funeral Home (Westmorland Road) on October 9, 2015 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm.  The funeral will be held at St. Mark’s United Church (Dexter Drive) on October 10, 2015 at 10:00am.  His family would be grateful if you came prepared to share stories or pictures about Adam that will be collected for his children to look back on as they get older.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Bobby’s Hospice, which made a difficult time the absolute best it could have been for Adam and his family, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
