With heavy hearts, Cathy and Michelle wish to announce the unexpected passing of James “Jim” Samuel Dubee on May 16, 2026.
Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, on October 6, 1940, Jim was the son of the late Sylvester Dubee and Lena (Wood) Murphy
Jim will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Cathy Dubee, Michelle (Carvell) Carroll; grand children Maddie Teakles, Amanda and Christine Carroll; great grand children Bryce, Riley Carroll, and Esamay, Everett Teakles. Also left to mourn his lose is his brother Greg Dubee and sister-in-law Glenna.
Jim devoted many years of dedicated service to the Irving Oil Refinery, as a supervisor where he was well respected by his colleagues. Through the years, he enjoyed snowmobiling, boating, and was especially proud to serve as treasurer of the Fundy Trail Riders Association. He also loved and treasured the time spent at the camp in Tennants Cove. Over the years, Jim travelled extensively with the love of his life, Jackie, throughout parts of Canada and the United States with their travel trailer, creating many lasting memories together. Following his retirement, Jim developed a deep love of reading, snow-shoeing and remained an enthusiastic soccer fan.
Aside from his parents Jim was predeceased by his wife Jackie (Walls) Dubee, and grand daughter Sarah Teakles.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424). Visitation will take place on Thursday May 21, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday May 22, 2026, in the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00pm. A reception will be held immediately following the service in the reception center. A private graveside interment will take place later.
For those who wish, donations in Jim’s memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
