Christopher LeBlanc Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden death, on May 18, 2026, of Christopher Michael LeBlanc at the age of 33. Chris was born on April 3, 1993, to parents Donald and Linda LeBlanc (Miller).

While attending Simonds High School, Chris earned the silver and bronze Duke of Edinburgh Awards. He walked daily with his family at the Rez, Harbour Passage or Lily and Fisher Lakes, always at a very fast pace.  He enjoyed going to Seadogs games and watched his nephews in Nova Scotia play basketball and baseball when visiting them.

Chris was always very excited to go to the cottage that the family rented for a week in Nova Scotia each summer. He placed his bag and his brother Peter’s bag on a chair in his bedroom two months ahead of time in anticipation. The cottage days were very special to Chris as he got to see his sister Sarah, her husband Jay and his nephews Ian, William, and Nathan.  It was a special treat last summer when Chris’  brother Mark, his wife Charity and their three children, Maria, Jose and Hugo from South Carolina also rented a cottage nearby and the “whole sick crew” were together.

Chris also had a keen love of camping and was always excited to hit the road. He took joy in helping his mom decorate the house for holidays, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter and Halloween. He loved decorating the Christmas tree and gathering at the table with his family to eat his turkey dinner. Chris enjoyed listening to the radio as he sat in his favorite chair in the living room.

Chris was dear to all who knew him. He is survived by his dad and mom, Don and Linda LeBlanc; his sister Sarah MacDonald (Jay) and his nephews Ian, William and Nathan; his brothers Peter and Mark (Charity) and their children Maria, Jose and Hugo Bautista; his aunts Anne Stroud (Bill), Susan Gorham, Jane Johnson (Scott), Barb Perry (Kevin); his uncles Gerry LeBlanc (Shauna), Jim Miller, Gary Miller and Paul Miller; his cousins Matthew, Anna and Rob Stroud (Emily), Leah, Ben, and Kevin Gorham, Angie Fry (Josh) and Laura Perry, Morgan Sawa (Simon) and Sophie LeBlanc.

Chris was predeceased by his uncles Stewart Gorham and Greg LeBlanc and by his grandparents Reg and Jennie Miller and Blair and Dorothy LeBlanc.
