Victor T. Parker

With heavy hearts, the family of Victor Parker announces his peaceful passing, which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on April 14th, 2017, surrounded by his family. Victor was born in Bristol on August 7th, 1936; the son of Hazen and Doris (Crain) Parker, and the loving husband of Eileen (Wood) Parker. Victor had many jobs during his working years; he was a Pastor with the Atlantic Baptist Convention for 15 years, worked at Glendale Homes Canada, Bricklin, and then was a Custodian with District 6 for 25 years, retiring in 2000. Along with his wife Eileen, Victor is survived by his son Christopher (Vickey Barry), daughters Mary (Richard Mellor), Wendy (Frank Franck) and grandchildren Caitlin, Paul, Joshua, Christy, Sarah, Jackie, Erin, Frankie and James, great-grandchildren Jadon, Jackson, Shyla, Theo and Steven, sister Pauline Parker, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Although there will be no visitation, family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service, which will be held from RiverCross Church, 61 Forbes Drive on Friday, April 21st at 1:00 p.m. For those who wish, remembrances to the New Brunswick Museum, Saint John Free Public Library, or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
