John and Laureen I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mom Shirley she was a special lady. I loved seeing her come on the ferry when I was upstairs operating as she would stop on the ramp look up with a big smile and wave too me! That would make my day! I will miss her. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs

To the Lennan family
Gerry and I wish to offer our sincerest sympathy on the passing of Shirley. I considered her a very good friend. Shirley was very special to me. I love to cook, and loved to share with her. She bragged up my lemon pie to anyone who would listen, and I loved her for that. I also loved her for her wicked humour, her strength, but most of all just for being my friend. I will miss you very much my friend.....

When Shirley spoke of family, her face lit up like a Christmas tree. The tales she'd tell of shenanigans with friends was always great source of entertainment. Her open smile and contagious laugh make memories dear. Her seasons here will be fondly remembered. Shirley will be missed beyond measure by those blessed enough to have known her.
