Ronald Hubert Brehaut

Peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family, Ronald Hubert Brehaut  passed away on September 21, 2016.  He was born in Saint John, NB to the late Thomas and Pearl (Newcombe) Murphy and was the loving husband of Theresa (Creamer) Brehaut for 50 years.

Ronald was a very quiet and caring man.  He loved his pets; dogs, cats, ferrets – anything furry was his friend – he was a well known friend, but above all, he was a family man.  He devoted his life to his family; parents and adoptive parents, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He was a Mechanic with Irving Oil for 30 years before retirement, where he continued in his quiet manner, providing for his family, and always giving but never taking.  He would do anything for anyone, and his neighbours and friends in Highmeadow Park will miss his smile, quiet grace and care for the neighbourhood. 

Along with his wife Theresa, he is survived by his 9 children; Ronald (Kathy) Brehaut, Stan ( Shelley) Brehaut, Charles (Dawn) Brehaut, Colin (Kelsey) Glode, Laurie (Tom) Christiansen, Linda (Robert) Carver, Beth (Chris) Hooper, Kim (Rob) Royal, Lana (Corey) Clarke, Dale (Tim) Glode and Susan (Gary) Brown, numerous grandchildren and many great grandchildren, sister Joanne (Steve) Levenshulme, as well as several nieces, nephews and friends 

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Thomas (Bud) Murphy.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). In keeping with Ron’s wishes, cremation will occur with no visitation or funeral service.  Memorial Donations made in Ron’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
